| Amphenol release internal Micro SAS connector |
Amphenol's internal Micro SAS connector enables connection of a SSD or 1.8 inch HDD to the SAS interface.
The internal Micro SAS connector uses the same 1.27mm pitch for both the signal and power segments as the Micro SATA connector as defined in the SATA specification.In additon,it contains a second signal segment on 0.8mm pitch similar to the SAS internal connector as defined in SFF8482.It contains an optional pair of contact opposite the primary signal contact group.
